TaurusFoodie : Hello Kitty Gourment Cafe, Malaysia.

  Malaysia first Hello Kitty Cafe before that, I had heard a lots of rumors about the bad feedback about it. When we first walk in to the cafe, we were sat on the ground floor, customer can only order dessert, cakes and drinks on a-la-carte menu, if you would like to have meals or have your tea set, you need to move to the upper floor, I'm thinking that what's the matter to organize customers to sit on upper or lower floor? The organization should have some changes on this rules. We have 6 person so some of us decide to have other a-la-carte and we share only 2 pax of tea time set, so how should them organize it? Because of the seating problem, we were joking around that should we have our meal on the ladders? Wahahaha. Funny~ So, as example after your meals, if you want to eat desserts you need to move to the ground floor and maybe there are full house and you need to wait for the tables, although there is empty table on the upper floor. And the billing on upper floor and ground floor are different.

At last, we still choose to share on the 2 pax of tea time set, so we moved to the upper floor. To settle this, there is around 3-5 waiter had take turn to serve us. Most of them are guys, and they don't look friendly at all. They have kind of face that telling me "I'm having a bullshit days serving this kind of customers", less patient and unfriendly. But it's okay, maybe they are innocent cause they are not the one who set this kind of trouble making rules. So, luckily we found our own joy when having our tea time.

Ground Floor

RM99.90 for 2 pax tea time set.

It's just some normal dessert, sweets like jelly beans, macaroon that taste like some Indian kind of ingredients, bread, ham and others come with one pot of tea for two. Only macaroon and the bread have the Hello Kitty pictures on it, nothing special other than that, and it's all taste too sweet or salty. Not recommended, but you can try it just for an experience.

Good choice as birthday cake for your friend who love Hello Kitty.

Overall we spend around RM108++ for the tea time set and an experience at Hello Kitty Gourment Cafe, Sunway Pyramid.

I'll not have for second visit for this restaurant but for those who want to have a visit, maybe a cup of coffee is enough for an experience, you may take as much pictures as you want.
